Emma
Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson, was born in Paris France of British parents Jacqueline Luesby Watson and Chris Watson both lawyers. At the age of five and moved to Oxfordshire and enrolled at the Dragon School. Emma decided to be an actor when she was six. Over the course of several years, she attended the Oxford branch of Stagecoach Theatre Arts part-time school. She learned to sing dance, acting and singing. In a school play and an Stagecoach Production, Emma took her role as lead actress at 10, and acted. Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone (2000) the movie version of J.K. Rowling's bestselling British book was cast in the year 1999. Emma was initially discovered as a casting agent by her Oxford drama instructor. David Heyman told Emma along together with Rupert Grint, Daniel Radcliffe after having eight straight auditions. Emma's debut on the big screen took place in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone which was released in 2001. The film is 2001's top grossing film, breaking records on opening day and first weekend. Critics were impressed with the movie and its performances. The well-known British paper The Daily Telegraph called her performance admirable. In the following days, Emma was nominated for five awards for her performance in the film, winning her the Young Artist Award for Leading Actress of a Younger in a Feature Film.
